Location: Must be based in or able to work from Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Define and own the long-term SMB commercial strategy, aligning revenue goals with market segmentation and go-to-market models.
  • Build and lead a scalable, data-driven sales organization by establishing clear performance metrics and governance frameworks.
  • Develop senior sales leaders and foster a high-performance culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Champion the SMB customer voice to improve retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Partner with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Analytics teams to translate market signals into product roadmap priorities.
  • Leverage modern tooling and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance commercial impact and decision-making.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in SMB, digital, marketplace, or tech environments.
  • Fluent in German and English (C1 level required).
  • Proven track record in defining and executing long-term go-to-market and sales strategies.
  • Experience leading leaders and managing complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical rigor with the ability to guide decisions using forecasting and market insights.
  • Executive-level presence with the ability to represent sales at the senior management level.
