What you will do

• Conduct business model analysis and evaluate complex deals according to internal guidelines.
• Perform customer due diligence and coordinate with compliance teams for high-risk applications.
• Calculate credit exposure and provide underwriting recommendations tailored to specific merchant profiles.
• Analyze profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare detailed risk summaries and present findings to senior management and the Credit Risk Committee.
• Represent the underwriting function in meetings with sales teams and high-value merchants.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in underwriting or payments, or a recent graduate in a numerical field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be based in Singapore.
