What you will do

• Perform periodic reviews of existing clients and financial intermediaries based on internal KYC and CDD guidelines.
• Conduct thorough plausibility checks and corroboration of account structures, source of wealth (SOW), and source of funds (SOF).
• Collaborate with Front Office to address and remediate SOW gaps or red flags within stipulated deadlines.
• Track and monitor AML exits based on financial crime and reputational risk frameworks.
• Support the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) target operating model by preparing business requirements and conducting testing.
• Develop SOPs, user manuals, and training materials for client reviews and conduct training for Front Office staff.

Requirements

• University degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in AML/KYC Compliance, Controls, or related functions.
• Knowledge of AML/CFT risks (PEP, Sanctions, reputational) typical of private banking clients.
• Familiarity with regulations including MAS, HKMA, FATF, and Wolfsberg.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience working within a private banking environment.
• Knowledge of VBA macros in MS Excel or Power BI.
• Experience using project management tools.
