What you will do

• Own the product lifecycle of the robotaxi brake system from concept through production.
• Design and release 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using GD&T standards.
• Define and manage comprehensive system requirements including mechanical, electrical, and thermal domains.
• Lead component testing, data analysis, and validation of system integrity.
• Manage strategic Tier 1 supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI, Mechatronics, and Vehicle Integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 8+ years of industry experience.
• Proven track record of designing complex components using CATIA V5/V6 or 3DX.
• Experience developing hydraulic brake actuation systems at an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier.
• Deep understanding of hydraulic systems, friction materials, and functional safety.
• Experience authoring technical requirements and executing validation test plans.
• Familiarity with automotive product development processes like APQP.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. degree.
• Experience with CAN network analysis and tools like Vector CANalyzer/CANoe.
• Experience with dSPACE, Polarion, Jira, and Confluence.
