What you will do

• Lead the deployment of AMRs, AFTs, and ASRS across manufacturing operations.
• Identify automation opportunities and conduct labor studies to quantify the impact on material movement.
• Define unit counts, routes, and commodity flow requirements based on operational needs.
• Optimize layouts using simulation and modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Siemens Tecnomatix, or FlexSim.
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers and internal teams from project purchase order through launch.
• Develop executable automation strategies, roadmaps, and ROI assessments for proposed projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, automation deployment, or material flow engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying and integrating AMRs, AFTs, and ASRS.
• Proficiency with layout optimization and simulation tools (AutoCAD, Siemens Tecnomatix, or FlexSim).
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and industrial protocols like OPC UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital twin modeling, simulation environments, or virtual commissioning.
• Familiarity with AI-driven material flow and smart warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of robotic safety standards such as ANSI/RIA R15.06 and ISO 10218.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
