What you will do

• Book journal entries for revenue, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and cash accounts.
• Perform month-end reconciliations for revenue-related balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare detailed analysis of P&L and balance sheet account variances.
• Produce structured documentation and accounting memos.
• Identify and implement process improvements for financial operations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and execute key internal controls.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada
• 4+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in SaaS or public accounting.
• CPA or CA designation (or active path towards designation) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software like Netsuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
