TL;DR

Senior Accountant (SaaS): Managing global revenue recognition processes and reconciliations with an accent on the order-to-cash process and SOX compliance. Focus on recording non-standard revenue adjustments and collaborating cross-functionally with sales and technical accounting teams.

Location: Hybrid (must work from assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week in the USA)

Salary: $95,000—$125,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead revenue recognition processes, including recording revenue and performing reconciliations.
  • Maintain and record non-standard revenue adjustments through collaboration with business and technical accounting teams.
  • Complete general ledger reconciliations for Deferred Revenue and Accounts Receivable.
  • Coordinate quarterly audits for SOX and external auditors.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, order management, collections, and business teams.
  • Liaise with international controllership teams for reporting and support local statutory audits.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue or Accounting at a public accounting firm or within a similar industry.
  • Must be based in the US and able to work from the assigned office at least 3 days per week.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate work and drive efficiency in projects.

Nice to have

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, and Blackline.
