What you will do
- Own end-to-end revenue recognition for the Retirement segment including 401K and AUM fees.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and subledger reconciliations for retirement revenue streams.
- Apply ASC 606 guidance to complex arrangements like contract modifications and variable consideration.
- Build and maintain automated solutions using AI tools, Python, or SQL to eliminate manual work.
- Lead audit walkthroughs and provide documentation for annual financial audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, FP&A, and Product on revenue data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with at least 3 years focused on revenue accounting.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 applied to SaaS or subscription models.
- Proven track record of building automation scripts or workflows to reduce manual effort.
- Advanced Excel skills; Python or SQL proficiency is a strong plus.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to Denver, San Francisco, or New York.

- NetSuite or revenue subledger experience.
- Big 4 or public accounting background.
