What you will do

• Lead and develop a large team of skilled trades maintenance group leaders and team members.
• Implement and enforce GMS principles, safety practices, and corporate policies.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation for the assigned business area.
• Drive strategy for complex projects and ensure delivery of key performance indicators.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues and competing demands.
• Select, train, and evaluate personnel to build a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with skilled trades.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a people leader role.
• Experience working with unions or UAW.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to work all 3 shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice to have

• Master's Degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety Systems and Continuous Improvement Processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
