What you will do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and projects in collaboration with global teams.
  • Manage accounts and distributors, including regular customer visits and order coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese customers both domestically and internationally.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to define customer potential and promote sales leads.
  • Lead the entire sales process, including strategy development, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate technical and sales requirements across internal departments to optimize sales efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (MBA is a plus).
  • 6–10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with J-OEMs or Tier suppliers.
  • Fluent Japanese and English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong problem-solving, value-selling, and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive team player mindset.
