What you will do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and projects in collaboration with global teams.
- Manage accounts and distributors, including regular customer visits and order coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese customers both domestically and internationally.
- Analyze market trends and competition to define customer potential and promote sales leads.
- Lead the entire sales process, including strategy development, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate technical and sales requirements across internal departments to optimize sales efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (MBA is a plus).
- 6–10 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with J-OEMs or Tier suppliers.
- Fluent Japanese and English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving, value-selling, and negotiation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
