What you will do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans aligned with regional targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Monitor account performance and adjust strategies to meet sales and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide data-driven insights on market trends and competitive practices to the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales or key account management experience, preferably in agriculture.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with middle and senior management stakeholders.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with experience using CRM tools for data-driven decisions.
  • Must be based in or able to work within the Central Iowa territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
  • MBA or advanced degree.
