What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans aligned with regional targets.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Monitor account performance and adjust strategies to meet sales and margin objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to enhance service delivery.
- Provide data-driven insights on market trends and competitive practices to the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales or key account management experience, preferably in agriculture.
- Proven ability to negotiate with middle and senior management stakeholders.
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience using CRM tools for data-driven decisions.
- Must be based in or able to work within the Central Iowa territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Ability to travel approximately 40% of the time.
Nice to have
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
- MBA or advanced degree.
