What you will do
- Generate significant annual revenue and identify new business prospects within the territory.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to meet sales and margin targets.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with distributor and retail accounts.
- Coordinate with technical and supply chain resources to provide value-added service.
- Mentor and provide guidance to sales representatives in neighboring territories.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and detailed market reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture or related Life Science.
- 10+ years of professional sales experience.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience in value-based selling.
- Proven track record of making data-driven decisions using CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate with middle to senior management.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects under minimum supervision.
Nice to have
- Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification.
- MBA degree.
