TL;DR

Manager, Business Development (SaaS): Leading the Commercial & Enterprise BDR team in Sydney to drive outbound pipeline growth with an accent on coaching, performance management, and operational excellence. Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia. This role follows a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of 4 Commercial & Enterprise BDRs to ensure quota attainment.
  • Oversee daily activities, quality control, and performance metrics for the BDR function.
  • Develop and implement outbound pipeline growth strategies and prospecting tactics.
  • Hire, onboard, and train new team members on product knowledge, sales methodology, and tools.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and partnership leaders to ensure market coverage and pipeline health.
  • Drive operational excellence through accurate reporting, forecasting, and process innovation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity (Team Lead or Manager).
  • Proven track record of success in an outbound sales environment with consistent quota achievement.
  • Strong experience managing or mentoring BDRs/SDRs.
  • Must be based in Sydney and able to work in a hybrid capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage upwards and cross-functionally across cultures and time zones.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and modern prospecting tools like Outreach, SalesNav, Gong, 6sense, or Lusha.
