Salary: $160,162–$282,952/year (OTE: $180,000–$318,000/year)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the Email engineering team to build and scale high-volume messaging infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define and deliver new features based on customer feedback.
• Guide key architectural decisions for highly parallelized systems and REST APIs.
• Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing engineers.
• Define the team's vision, goals, and operational processes.
• Contribute to technical strategy and hands-on coding in high-leverage scenarios.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record.
• 2+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive with autonomy while maintaining a deep understanding of technical details.
• Experience building foundational systems at scale.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to make difficult trade-off decisions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Professional experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, JavaScript, or React.
