Engineering Manager (SaaS)

Engineering Manager (SaaS): Leading the Purchase, Access & Subscription Success (PASS) team to optimize the buyer-facing purchase and subscription experience with an accent on checkout flows, billing panels, and revenue-driving features. Focus on scaling critical revenue systems, mentoring a full-stack engineering team, and ensuring operational health through SLOs and high availability.

Location: Hybrid (Dublin, Ireland) — must be in office 3 days per week

What you will do

• Lead a full-stack engineering team responsible for the multi-product cart, secure checkout, and billing panel experience.
• Drive the execution of the Monetization roadmap, including secure checkout migration and cross-sell optimization.
• Coach and mentor engineers through regular feedback, goal-setting, and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to align engineering initiatives with business priorities.
• Own operational health, including SLOs, on-call rotations, and availability targets.
• Manage incident command rotations and guide the team's response to high-impact production events.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams building production systems.
• Technical experience across both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Java, PostgreSQL, distributed systems) domains.
• Familiarity with e-commerce cart/checkout, subscription management, or SaaS billing UX.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on cross-team alignment and delivery.
• Experience operating in a PagerDuty/on-call culture with production SLO targets.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office 3 days a week.
