Sr. Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Design, implement, debug, and test firmware for Android- and Linux-based platforms.
• Develop firmware for both new and existing video collaboration products.
• Implement unique features that differentiate the products.
• Design reusable software architectures and APIs.
• Ensure high levels of software quality, performance, and security.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience working with Qualcomm and/or MediaTek SoCs.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Understanding of the Linux kernel, device drivers, Android HAL architecture, and development of new HAL modules.
• Understanding of Linux USB Gadget and USB class specifications, including UVC, UAC, and HID.
• Experience with I2C, SPI, and UART communication protocols, including verification with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Strong debugging, architecture, API design, code reuse, revision control, and code review skills using tools such as Git and Gerrit.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting.
• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
