What you will do

• Design, implement, debug, and test firmware for Android and Linux based platforms for new and existing products.
• Implement new and unique features that differentiate the product.
• Ensure product software delivers the highest quality, performance, and security.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of C and C++.
• 7+ years of experience working on QCOM and/or MTK SoC.
• Understanding of Linux kernel and device drivers.
• Understanding of Android HAL architecture and development for new HAL modules.
• Understanding of Linux USB Gadget and USB class specifications (UVC, UAC, HID).
• Familiar with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART; strong debugging skills; knowledge of revision control and code review tools (git, gerrit).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python and Linux scripting.
• Familiarity with oscilloscope and logic analyzers for verification of communication protocols.
