What you will do

• Optimize mechanical costs in mass production and lead cost-reduction projects.
• Resolve product quality issues in manufacturing while improving design for manufacturability, performance, quality, and cost.
• Analyze, document, and test mechanical parts and assemblies using advanced engineering tools.
• Lead or support derivative product development and manage compliance label design and updates.
• Participate in supplier design reviews, alternative supplier development, qualification, and mechanical specification updates.
• Introduce and validate sustainable materials such as PCR plastics and metals, and support manufacturing optimization and supply chain transfers with global cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical engineering for high-volume consumer electronic products.
• Ability to analyze mechanical components and assemblies and verify improvements through testing.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, suppliers, design reviews, and production process validation.
• Ability to collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
