What you will do

• Build functional prototypes using AI development tools before planning sprints.
• Design end-to-end AI workflows, including input, reasoning, and action chains.
• Define and manage the evaluation layer to ensure AI output quality and reliability.
• Analyze and optimize token usage, latency, and unit economics for AI features.
• Validate product concepts directly with users through working artifacts.
• Ship production-ready AI features in a high-autonomy, paired product-engineering model.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a product role, with at least 2 years focused on AI-powered products.
• Demonstrated ability to build working prototypes using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or v0.
• Hands-on experience designing agentic workflows, including tool use and multi-step reasoning.
• Clear understanding of RAG, prompt architecture, and model-vs-rule decision making.
• Experience defining and running evals for AI features in production.
• Track record of shipping products from zero to production.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI tools independently outside of a professional role.
• Background in paired product-engineering environments.
• Small team or startup experience.
