TL;DR

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sales activities (including cold calls and sales visits) to meet targets and grow presence in the assigned territory.
  • Sign up new B2B partners (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs) and provide training on the system.
  • Manage and support an assigned partner portfolio, including first-level support and ongoing follow-ups to improve cooperation.
  • Prepare, execute, and manage commercial deals, including required document flow and technical setup; ensure compliance with commercial conditions and payment flow.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis and deliver regular comprehensive reporting via CRM and internal systems.
  • Initiate API deals with potential and existing partners; spend up to ~40% of working time on business trips.

Requirements

  • Japan residency required for this remote vacancy.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience across the full sales life cycle in the travel industry, focused on business development and account management.
  • Fluent Japanese and English.
  • Strong knowledge of the regional travel market and B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, OTAs).
  • Comfort with data-driven, metrics-based decision-making and reporting; strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel for business (up to ~40% of working time).
