Network Engineer - Juniper Focused

What you will do

• Manage monitoring systems and maintain reliable availability and performance of core network services.
• Troubleshoot faults, isolate problems, implement corrective actions, and escalate complex issues to Network Engineering.
• Provision and configure core network devices, IP assignments, DNS, NNI ports, services, monitoring tools, and controlled network changes.
• Build, install, configure, and audit network equipment, hardware records, security settings, and configurations.
• Work with third-party suppliers and internal technical teams on upgrades, network changes, service impacts, and escalations.
• Write custom monitoring plugins, maintain technical documentation, and participate in the 24x7 call-out rotation when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols, including STP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPSec.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran routing, switching, and firewall devices.
• Knowledge of WAN technologies, VoIP, VPNs, security protocols, Linux networking, and centralized network monitoring tools.
• JNCIA or CCNA certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SD-WAN deployment.
• JNCIP or CCNP certification.
