TL;DR

Leadperson - 3rd Shift: Assisting the department supervisor and ensuring orderly operation of the T&P Valve department with an accent on safe manufacturing execution, production order completion, and day-to-day informal leadership. Focus on troubleshooting equipment and systems, driving continuous process improvement with the CI team, and maintaining inventory accuracy and 5S standards.

What you will do

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and escalating safety concerns immediately.
  • Coordinate work assignments with the Production Supervisor to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
  • Assist employees with problem-solving, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems and coordinate with maintenance and support departments to maintain the production schedule.
  • Lead daily tier meetings and act as an informal leader to engage employees and build positive relations.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, inventory accuracy, and maintain primary work areas in line with 5S standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4+ years of related manufacturing experience.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to establish employment eligibility, complete background checks, and pass required pre-employment testing.
