Leadperson - 1st Shift (Manufacturing): Assist the department supervisor and oversee orderly operation of the 3D/Shell department, ensuring timely completion of production orders with an accent on safety leadership, lean transformation support, and day-to-day problem solving. Focus on troubleshooting equipment, coordinating with maintenance to maintain the production schedule, leading daily tier meetings, and driving continuous process improvement and inventory accuracy.

What you will do

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and escalating safety concerns immediately.
• Coordinate work assignments with the supervisor to meet customer demands and shipping schedules.
• Support employees through problem solving, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems and coordinate with maintenance and support departments to keep production on schedule.
• Act as an informal leader by influencing without authority and engaging employees in line with the Code of Conduct and company values.
• Lead daily tier meetings; drive continuous process improvement with the CI team; drive inventory accuracy; maintain the work area using 5S standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
• Ability to work on-site at the Company’s Foundry in Franklin, NH.
