What you will do

• Assist the Machining Supervisor in coordinating daily operational functions and meeting safety, quality, and pace metrics.
• Program, set up, and configure CNC machines to meet department requirements.
• Oversee in-process inspections, document data, and maintain records for process control.
• Coordinate labor and equipment activities to meet pace requirements while following safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify and address process issues promptly, escalating concerns to the Supervisor or Manager as needed.
• Assess training needs and provide guidance and development support for team members.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in machining/manufacturing.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Commitment to safety: wear required PPE and adhere to safety rules; understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Basic computer literacy, strong communication skills, and solid math abilities.
• Must establish employment eligibility, complete background checks, and complete required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
