What you will do

• Manage daily assembly activities, including set-up, build, finish testing, paint, and shipping operations.
• Lead a diverse team of mechanical and electrical assemblers, test technicians, and shipping personnel.
• Develop assembly standards and processes to address quality, cost, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve issues impacting production lines.
• Lead root-cause problem identification and implement assembly countermeasures for field issues.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by coaching associates in Lean principles.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Baltimore, MD
• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience, or a BS degree and 5 years of experience.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor associates and strengthen team cohesiveness.
• Strong understanding of operational requirements from standards such as OSHA, UL, and CE.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP Systems.
• Ability to apply structured problem-solving to complex manufacturing and equipment issues.
