Full Stack Developer FCC (Angular/Java)

Location: Toronto, Canada; remote, hybrid, and in-office working options are available. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Annual base salary: CAD 123,000–152,000, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

Fidelity Clearing Canada provides trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support services to Canadian brokerage firms and registered portfolio managers.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain software solutions for internal and external clients.
• Design and implement applications that automate business processes and support advisor-platform capabilities.
• Provide solution architecture, document designs, develop program logic, and improve existing applications.
• Create microservices and integrate systems using RESTful APIs and Spring Boot.
• Apply Agile and DevOps practices, build unit tests, and maintain installation and support documentation.
• Work with internal user groups to translate business and systems requirements into applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web development, object-oriented analysis and design, and service-oriented architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Appian or RPA, SQL databases including Oracle or SQL Server, and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Agile tools, CI/CD delivery pipelines, and Unix/Linux systems.
• University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience, preferably in Computer Science.
• Current Canadian work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud-based applications.
• Experience in wealth management, brokerage, or financial services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
