Software Engineer II - Collaborative Web Platform (Fullstack)

Location: Canada (Remote); in-office workspace available in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Salary: CAD 103,206–129,008 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Develop core capabilities for a real-time collaborative content platform.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to turn requirements into production software.
• Integrate AI tooling into the development workflow and product.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain a high engineering quality bar.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production experience across both backend and frontend development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one backend language.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, or webhooks.
• Comfort working in cloud-native environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Strong testing, maintainability, and software design fundamentals; bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
