Software Developer (Full-Stack, UI-Heavy)

Location: Remote within Canada; locations include Markham, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa. Must be able to work in Canada without sponsorship. Export-control restrictions apply to foreign nationals from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine when working on a permit.

Salary: CAD 92,000–129,000 per year on a full-time schedule.

What you will do

• Build security and identity user experiences with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Make changes to identity backends for authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO, SAML, OIDC, and session management.
• Develop expertise in areas such as identity, RBAC, or audit logging.
• Write technical one-pagers, participate in design and pull-request reviews, and collaborate with Product, AppSec, Platform, and engineering teams.
• Apply secure defaults, input validation, least privilege, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, runbooks, release processes, and security remediation.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of software engineering experience; strong new graduates with relevant internships or projects are welcome.
• Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Strong frontend development skills with React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Working proficiency in a statically typed backend language such as Go, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, cloud-native development, and security or identity concepts.
• Must be able to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Coursework, internships, certifications, CTF experience, or projects involving identity, cryptography, or cloud security.
• Some travel availability based on business demand.
