TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Developer (Go/React): Building and maintaining scalable frontend and backend components for a legal services platform with an accent on Go APIs, React and TypeScript interfaces, database integration, and responsive user experiences. Focus on identifying performance bottlenecks, solving scalability and security challenges, and improving reliability through automated testing and CI/CD.
Location: Remote from Canada
Salary: $135,000–$165,000 CAD per year, based on experience and location

Proof is a legal technology startup founded in 2017 that provides service-of-process and e-filing solutions to more than 3,000 law firms and pro se parties across the United States.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of the Proof platform.
- Build and optimize Go APIs, database integrations, and core backend infrastructure.
- Develop responsive, high-performance interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and security risks across the stack.
- Collaborate with Product and Design in an agile environment to deliver platform improvements.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold engineering best practices, and mentor less experienced developers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of full-stack development experience building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Production experience with Go or another modern programming language, including robust APIs and backend systems.
- Strong frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database management and backend integration.
- Experience with RESTful services, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and remote-work skills; familiarity with agentic coding.
