Technical Lead (Fullstack)

Technical Lead (Fullstack): Leading the execution and delivery of technology solutions and continuous improvements across the application landscape with an accent on modernizing core systems and evolving legacy platforms. Location: Must be based in Canada with current work authorization. The role is based in Toronto (483 Bay Street) until late 2026, then moving to Mississauga (3 Robert Speck Parkway). Flexible hybrid/remote options are available.

Salary: $135,000 – $152,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of technology solutions and continuous improvements across the application landscape.
• Modernize core systems by evolving legacy platforms toward scalable and resilient solutions.
• Partner with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to meet technical and business objectives.
• Break down complex initiatives into deliverables, provide estimates, and mitigate risks.
• Assess code quality and architecture alignment to ensure secure and maintainable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the reliability and stability of the application portfolio.

Requirements

• Must have current work authorization for Canada.
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a fullstack developer.
• 2+ years of experience working as a team lead.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node or Java/Spring Boot on the backend, and TypeScript/React/Angular on the frontend.
• Strong experience in system design and leveraging AI to solve problems.
