Technical Lead (AI)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Toronto, at 483 Bay Street until approximately late 2026, then at 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 135,000–152,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the execution and delivery of technology solutions and continuous improvements across the application landscape.
• Modernize core systems by evolving legacy platforms toward scalable, resilient, and future-ready architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, business stakeholders, and architecture teams to define deliverables, estimates, technical approaches, and risk mitigation plans.
• Drive engineering excellence through code-quality reviews, architecture alignment, operational-risk assessment, and technical documentation.
• Support application reliability through day-to-day operations, on-call participation, and improvements to stability, performance, and supportability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of fullstack development experience and 2 years of team-lead experience.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node or Java and Spring Boot on the backend, and TypeScript with React or Angular on the frontend.
• Strong system-building and system-design experience, with excellent communication, documentation, analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using artificial intelligence to solve problems creatively.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.
