Security Representative

Location: 100% in-office at 483 Bay Street, Toronto, Canada. Rotating shifts between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.

Salary: CAD 60,000–81,000 annually, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Respond to medical emergencies, unauthorized entry, evacuations, unlawful acts, and mental health situations within the scope of training.
• Conduct focused and general patrols and audit Fidelity facilities for policy compliance, workplace safety, and functioning security devices.
• Manage security badging, customer verification, badge creation, access control processing, and physical-access requests.
• Prepare incident, hazard, and safety reports using computer applications and security resources.
• Provide additional security coverage and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and business units.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• At least 2 years of corporate security experience with customer service experience.
• Completion of a 2-year post-secondary program or equivalent work experience.
• Required licenses under Ontario's Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA).
• First responder certifications and the ability to perform first responder activities in medical and facility emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of security practices, clear written communication, and the ability to interact with the public, vendors, and business units.
