Operations Manager (Audio-Visual Hospitality)

Location: Huntsville, Ontario, Canada; onsite hotel/convention center environment

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage daily floor activities and technician workflows to ensure equipment and services are delivered on time and in working condition.
• Supervise team members, including scheduling, timekeeping, task delegation, and performance management.
• Control equipment inventory, safety, security, quality assurance, and daily equipment documentation.
• Review quotes and billing, recommend cost efficiencies, and identify potential operational challenges.
• Meet with guests and clients onsite to confirm service quality, equipment setup, and satisfaction.
• Hire, mentor, motivate, and develop technicians and operational support staff through training and professional development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of audio-visual and customer service or hospitality experience, including 2+ years of supervisory experience, or completion of hirify.global’s ADOP program.
• Experience leading workflows and team members.
• Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live-show environment.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, Internet, and Microsoft Office.
• Availability for onsite work with irregular hours, on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
