Senior Associate - Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory

Location: New York, NY. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $80,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory and financial due diligence engagements.
• Perform quality of earnings, working capital, financial trend, financial statement, business plan, and cash flow analyses.
• Identify purchase price adjustment issues and potential transaction structuring insights.
• Delegate, supervise, and lead work across engagement areas while collaborating with clients and professional advisers.
• Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Contribute to marketing, client pitches, and the development of the corporate finance practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, management, engineering, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including three-statement models, cash flows, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of financial and operational data and develop practical insights and recommendations.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, project management, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or similar financial research tools.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• CFA, CPA, equivalent certification, or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
