What you will do

• Architect and automate database platform provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Establish and maintain best practice standards for code quality, security, and architecture.
• Troubleshoot complex database systems and implement issue remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver engineering project goals.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD workflows.
• Work with containerized platforms and integrate with REST APIs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Austin Metro area.
• 10+ years of experience engineering for database engines like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake.
• 10+ years of experience programming in Python or Powershell.
• 7+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• 8+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• 5+ years of experience working with containerized platforms.
• Expert knowledge of CI/CD and SDLC workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience or interest in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
