Salary: $172,000–$228,000 plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Manage networking and server hardware, topology, and connectivity in physical data centers and cloud environments.
• Design and build network telemetry, monitoring, and observability systems.
• Develop automated change management pipelines for network configuration and hardware provisioning.
• Triage and resolve operational issues as an on-call engineer, participating in post-mortems to prevent future incidents.
• Collaborate on strategic decisions regarding hybrid cloud architecture evolution.
• Liaise with vendors and travel to Bay Area and New Jersey data centers for onsite projects.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with routing and switching in data centers.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux systems.
• Experience automating production data center environments, including hardware provisioning and capacity planning.
• Proficiency with networking protocols such as BGP, MLAG, VLANs, and DNS.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Juniper switches, and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency with automation tools like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, and at least one language (Ruby, Go, or Python).
