What you will do

• Architect and maintain MongoDB Atlas and non-Atlas environments to ensure high availability and security.
• Design disaster recovery strategies, including multi-region failover and backup management.
• Optimize database performance and query execution across the SDLC.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitOps for database automation.
• Implement observability solutions using Dynatrace and CloudWatch.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for database-related issues.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a MongoDB DBA, including 4+ years with MongoDB Atlas.
• Strong experience with the AWS ecosystem (EC2, EKS, IAM, KMS, VPC).
• Proficiency in Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Experience with observability platforms like Dynatrace or Prometheus.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka and enterprise data integration platforms.
• Familiarity with infrastructure observability at enterprise scale.
