What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core network infrastructure, including advanced routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and DC fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN).
• Manage Enterprise WAN and SD-WAN solutions using Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Versa, or Fortinet.
• Implement and optimize network security, including Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust microsegmentation, and SASE solutions (Zscaler, Netskope).
• Architect hybrid cloud networking connecting on-premise systems to Azure VNets, AWS VPCs, and GCP via ExpressRoute or Direct Connect.
• Develop network automation scripts and pipelines using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment with enterprise goals and security standards.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual and access requirements.
• Location: Must be based in Minnesota (for remote or office-based work).
• 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, technical problem solving, and solution implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Datacenter Networking (Cisco ACI), load balancing (F5 BIG-IP), and Enterprise WLAN design.
• Experience with Public Cloud networking constructs and hybrid architecture design.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with specialized automation tools like Itential and Nornir.
• Deep knowledge of certificate lifecycle management and DDoS mitigation (Cloudflare, Akamai).
• Experience with Source of Truth systems such as NetBox or IP Fabric.
