Project Director - Utilities

What you will do

• Provide leadership to multi-department project teams to establish scope and schedule requirements, develop budgets, manage procurement, and complete design, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage enabling infrastructure and non-park developments (e.g., mass grading, water management, environmental mitigation, utility supplies, central energy plant, process water, rainwater harvesting) and align works with statutory undertakers.
• Ensure project procedures are followed across correspondence, RFIs, directives, drawings, submittals, meeting minutes, action trackers, notices, and pay applications.
• Maintain overall project budget and schedule within approved targets, including tracking and reporting progress to upper management.
• Lead environmental, health & safety responsibilities in line with Universal policy, procedures, and training.
• Direct coordination across Universal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors; support team development and document control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, Management, or related field.
• Experience in construction project management across design and construction phases, including infrastructure and utilities delivery.
• Experience with project scheduling, estimating, bidding, negotiations, critical path, site logistics, constructability, and contracts.
• Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods for enabling infrastructure (mass grading, water management, environmental mitigation) and utilities.
• Experience working with UK utility statutory undertakers and interpreting design and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Planner, Power BI, Teams, and Power Apps; Bluebeam/PDF tools; AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
