Assistant Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to project offices in Mold and Deeside, UK

What you will do

• Assist in developing delivery plans and daily coordination for trenchless crossing works.
• Track project progress, constraints, and report status updates to the Project Manager.
• Support the preparation, review, and communication of RAMS and safe-system-of-work documentation.
• Coordinate information flow between designers, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Engage with asset owners and third parties for permits and inspections.
• Support commercial tracking of subcontractor progress and valuation inputs.

Requirements

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in infrastructure or utilities projects such as civils, tunnelling, or pipelines.
• Ability to understand construction drawings, RAMS, and technical documentation.
• Must hold a CSCS card (Managers/Professionals preferred).
• Competence with MS Office and project reporting tools.
• HNC/HND or degree in a construction/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting trenchless works like microtunnelling, HDD, or auger bore.
• Familiarity with permit processes, CEMPs, or third-party approvals.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
