What you will do

  • Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safety and efficiency for all staff and contractors.
  • Direct emergency response actions and coordinate corrective operations when necessary.
  • Supervise and train shift supervisors, including performance coaching and scheduling.
  • Manage the CMMS preventative maintenance system to ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Maintain training programs, SOPs, and operator logs.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities on the tipping floor and oversee water analysis.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
  • Hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers and electric generation equipment.
  • Must obtain ASME QRO Site Specific Operator Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs and qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
