Team Lead - Data Centers (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Remote or Lakewood, Colorado, United States; hybrid or fully remote work is available depending on location and project needs. Travel typically ranges from 15–25%, with periodic field engagement.

Salary: $110,000–$165,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams supporting industrial and mission-critical clients.
• Serve as a primary client contact and build long-term technical relationships.
• Coordinate project delivery, scope, budgets, change management, risks, and field support.
• Mentor engineers, designers, drafters, and technicians while reviewing deliverables.
• Maintain engineering standards, best practices, and QA/QC processes.
• Contribute to proposals, business development, client materials, and account growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in industrial, oil and gas, or power systems environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and mentor engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work in technically complex environments.
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial, oil and gas, data center, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer or FE certification.
• PMP certification.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Experience in power delivery, substations, and power engineering.
