What you will do

  • Supervise hourly maintenance staff, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations.
  • Manage work orders and provide technical troubleshooting assistance to mechanics and electricians.
  • Oversee and enforce record-keeping practices within SAP and CMMS.
  • Lead the development of proactive maintenance programs and asset integrity initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including LOTO, SWP, and cyber security for control systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors while supporting capital projects and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in specialty chemicals or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong leadership experience, particularly in a unionized environment.
  • Proficiency with PLCs, process control systems, and CMMS/SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and interface effectively across all organizational levels.
