TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Cybersecurity): Engaging with prospective customers to identify business opportunities and drive growth for an AI-powered cybersecurity platform with an accent on cold calling, lead qualification, and territory management. Focus on articulating complex security value propositions to senior executives and building a robust sales pipeline.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada (Hybrid: 50% in office / 50% remote).

What you will do

  • Engage with new prospective customers to identify and qualify business opportunities across the region.
  • Execute cold calling, event recruitment, and high-level prospecting to reach key decision-makers.
  • Articulate the value proposition of the AI security platform to improve customer information security.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives through professional and relevant communication.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to follow up on campaigns and meet quarterly/annual KPIs.
  • Book direct meetings for Account Executives at customer sites and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto office.
  • Proven ability to execute sales plays and handle objections confidently.
  • Experience with cold calling and strategic territory mapping.
  • Proficiency in sales tools including Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Consistent track record of achieving sales quotas.
