What you will do
- Lead multiple software development squads toward effective technical solutions for product functionality.
- Set objectives, define deliverables, and develop metrics to monitor results.
- Resolve technical impediments, bottlenecks, code smells, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
- Coach, train, and provide regular feedback to software engineers.
- Coordinate designs and solutions with Development Managers, Architecture, Engineering, Product, Agile, and Design teams.
- Coordinate deployments and set up or maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development lifecycle experience, including coding, peer reviews, and production issue resolution.
- At least 3 years of management or technical leadership experience.
- Experience with Java, REST, SOAP, application performance tuning, and API design.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows, Agile practices, Domain-Driven Design, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL, and/or Oracle databases, as well as cloud-hosted middleware applications.
- Knowledge of performance engineering, non-functional requirements, middleware security, Business-Driven Design, and Test-Driven Development.
