TL;DR

Regional Pro Specialist (Construction): Accelerating Pro-segment growth across big-box retail for home improvement brands with an accent on strategic partnerships and field sales execution. Focus on generating high-value Pro opportunities, managing complex project takeoffs, and driving revenue through retail and distribution channels.

Location: Must reside within the Southeast Sales Region (TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL) and be comfortable with up to 75% travel.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 plus annual sales incentives.

What you will do

  • Capture targeted share of addressable business within the assigned region.
  • Implement Pro-focused programs and promotional initiatives in retail environments like Lowe’s and The Home Depot.
  • Collaborate with retail channel outside sellers to align on active projects and upcoming opportunities.
  • Execute high-level blueprint reading and full project takeoff validation.
  • Host region-wide Pro events to provide product training and elevate market advocacy.
  • Conduct on-site job visits to support project planning and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Must reside within the Southeast Sales Region (TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, FL).
  • 3-5 years of experience in field sales, business development, or channel management within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Direct experience working within the retail environment (The Home Depot and/or Lowe’s).
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of growing business independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be comfortable with up to 75% travel, including frequent driving and air travel.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Background in doors, decking, or adjacent millwork building products.
  • Experience working with Pro customers such as builders, remodelers, or contractors.
  • Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce.
