TL;DR

Territory Sales Representative (Fintech): Prospecting and managing sales presentations for point-of-sale software solutions to small and mid-sized merchants with an accent on building referral partnerships and closing deals in a fast sales cycle. Focus on conducting in-person demonstrations, uncovering client needs, and achieving production quotas within the assigned territory.

Location: Must be based in the Bakersfield, San Francisco, or San Jose area and able to travel to client sites at least 75% of the time.

Salary: $50,000 base + bonuses (OTE $100,000+).

What you will do

  • Prospect new clients and build referral partnerships within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct in-person and phone presentations of cloud-based point-of-sale solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract processing.
  • Perform on-the-spot financial analysis for prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records and activity notes in Salesforce and Atlas CRM.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager to achieve production and sales quotas.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Bakersfield, San Francisco, or San Jose area.
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites at least 75% of the time.
  • Proven experience in sales, prospecting, and cold-calling.
  • Strong presentation and networking skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a high sense of urgency.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the restaurant or retail industry.
  • At least two years of relevant sales experience.
