What you will do
- Establish insurance cover and record claims within the digital claims handling system.
- Investigate liability claims through desk research or by instructing loss adjusters.
- Make liability decisions and negotiate the final settlement of claims.
- Ensure full compliance with legal timescales and client SLAs.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with external clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience handling injury claims within an insurance or legal environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting policy wording, terms, and conditions.
- Knowledge of injury claim valuation and reserving philosophies.
- Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
