TL;DR

Casualty NDA File Handler (Legal): Managing a caseload of varied Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) cases for insurance clients with an accent on forensic analysis of evidence and litigation strategy. Focus on handling Fast-Track and Multi-Track cases, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with SRA standards.

Location: Hybrid (Bolton, UK) — Attendance required 1 day a week in the office

What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of EL/PL cases, setting strategy and analyzing primary and secondary liability.
  • Review evidence, including witness statements, medical records, and property inspection reports.
  • Conduct investigations, CMCs, and applications while managing disclosure processes.
  • Instruct Counsel and medical experts, including drafting technical questions for experts.
  • Prepare Trial Bundles and Pre-Trial reports, and attend conferences and trials with Counsel.
  • Maintain strict compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience handling a caseload of EL/PL files.
  • Previous litigation experience and strong advocacy skills.
  • High level of analytical skills and the ability to prioritize work under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills and written/verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work within the hirify.global Shared Values framework.
