What you will do

• Handle a caseload of portal claims from notification to resolution.
• Assess liability and personal injury for credit hire claims.
• Negotiate settlements and cost apportionments with insurers and third-party solicitors.
• Draft court documentation and instruct Counsel as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate case management, billing, and management information systems.
• Ensure full compliance with SRA Standards, Regulations, and ISO 9001 guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Bolton on a hybrid basis.
• Experience in credit hire (defendant experience preferred, or claimant).
• Proven experience of handling an independent caseload.
• Solid understanding of the MOJ and OIC portal processes.
• Minimum of 3 GCSEs (grade C or above) including Maths and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge or experience of the MOJ process.
• Experience handling complex liability disputes.
