What you will do

• Own month-end close across assigned GL areas, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Apply deep expertise in ASC 606 to ensure GAAP compliance for existing and new revenue streams.
• Collaborate with Product, Data hirify.globalering, and Finance to build accounting frameworks for evolving business areas.
• Build and maintain automation workflows using AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to compress close timelines and reduce manual effort.
• Partner with data teams to investigate root causes of discrepancies and implement scalable solutions for large datasets.
• Prepare documentation for financial audits, quarterly close packages, and technical accounting memos.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with manager-level ownership in high-growth environments.
• Strong technical foundation in ASC 606 and revenue recognition.
• Demonstrated experience building or deploying AI/automation tools to reduce manual accounting work (Hard Requirement).
• Experience manipulating large, complex datasets to validate accounting outcomes.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP; CPA strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience at a regional or Big Four audit firm.
• Experience with data platforms such as Looker or Hex.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
• Experience with close management tools and pre-close workflow design.
