What you will do

• Own the full-cycle monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Lead external audits as the primary point of contact and manage PBC lists.
• Prepare financial statements accompanied by complete flux and variance analysis.
• Manage the migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite and support new product launches.
• Implement and maintain corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable documentation.
• Drive automation initiatives across the accounting function to reduce manual work and increase accuracy.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public and private sector work.
• CPA designation (or candidate) with a proven understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in NetSuite (required).
• Experience reviewing and overseeing the work of junior staff or outsourced partners.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for manipulating large datasets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of or experience in the banking and payments industry.
• Proficiency with SQL and Looker.
